Painting grounds me. I feel very privileged to be able to paint.
I love the challenge of taking nature as inspiration and adding thoughtful choices to create an engaging design. I have a passion for discovering seasonal variations. I especially like the impact and mystery that sunlight, shadows and reflections add to a composition.
I grew up where the ocean was a neighbor and friend. I have spent many happy moments with the sea. My art reflects deep feelings for water and its many moods.
My preferred studio is outside where I can connect with nature, capture true color and light and let my imagination take hold.
